"The most revelatory works in “Thread Hijack,” though, are the ones in which the string is the star. Iranian artist Abdolreza Aminlari pulls his thread so tight that it barely seems to rise above the paper surface of his pieces. He’s also meticulous about his measurements: he’s arranged his stitched lines so they form perfect squares and set the squares to intersect at precise angles, hypnotic in their consistency. It’s a geometry teacher’s gilded dream. What really makes Aminlari’s thread shimmer and sing is the stuff it’s made of — Japanese-milled 24 carat gold. Set against blue backgrounds, Aminlari’s arrangement of metallic shapes feels like a blown-up schematic for the world’s most luxurious computer chip."

گالری اً با افتخار نخستین نمایش انفرادی عبدالرضا امینلاری، هنرمند ساکن بروکلین را با عنوان «آو آرت، اند آو تایم (Ham Az Zameen, Ham Az Zamoon)» برگزار میکند. امینلاری که عموما با آثار انتزاع هندسی حاصل از دوخت بر روی کاغذ شناخته میشود، در این نمایش، برای نخستین بار مجموعهای از حجمهای سرامیکی را در کنار آثار روی کاغذ خود ارایه میدهد.
در تابستان ۱۳۹۹ و در اوج همهگیری ویروس کرونا، امینلاری خود را در ارتفاعات آتلانتا در ایالت جورجیا قرنطینه کرد. جرقهی اولیهی آثار سرامیک امینلاری، دور از آتلیهی همیشگی وی در بروکلین، در این کارگاه موقتی در فضای باز زده شد. مجموعهی پیش رو علاوه بر آثار روی کاغذ، شامل شش مجسمهی کوچک سرامیکی و چیدمانی از کاشی نیز میشود که در طول دورهی دوماههی قرنطینه ساخته شدهاند. کاشیها در این مجموعه لعابهایی آبیرنگ با سایههای متفاوت دارند و شکل هرکدام تداعیگر نقوش دوخته شده بر روی آثار روی کاغذ این نمایش است. این کاشیها در فضای نمایش به صورت افقی بر روی سطح، آزاد قرار میگیرند؛ به گونهای که از جابجایی آنها میتوان بینهایت ترکیببندی متفاوت بهدست آورد.
اشکال به کار رفته در کاشیها و آثار روی کاغذ برگرفته از الگویی واحد هستند که هنرمند خلق کرده و هر قطعه بهوسیلهی تکرار الگوی اصلی بهدست آمده است که باعث پیوستگی بیشتر مجموعه میشود. شش مجسمهی بالدار، یادآور گلدان یا ظرفهایی استوانهای شکل هستند که به فضای داخلی و خانه اشاره دارند. به همین ترتیب، امینلاری همواره در آثار خود از طریق دوختهای ظریف بر روی کاغذ، تلاش در اشاره به موضوع کار خانگی دارد. این مجموعه مجسمه با رنگهای مات، جواهرگونه و در عین حال خام خود، باعث تشدید تجربهی بصری آثار روی کاغذ میشوند که بر روی بستری از رنگ گواش آبی و بهوسیلهی دوختن نخ براق طلا خلق شدهاند. "در پروسهی از بین بردن و پیکربندی مجدد است که چیزهای جدید شکل میگیرند. در فضاهای خالی و فضای میان گواش آبی، اشکال حیوانی و انسانگونه ظاهر میشوند که تداعیگر شکل توتمها و یا سرستونهای باستانی هستند. برای من، این آثار به منظور گشودن راهی تازه، شمایل ناسیونالیسم را به چالش میکشند و تغییر میدهند."
عبدالرضا امینلاری (م. ۱۳۵۸ تهران) در بروکلین زندگی و کار میکند. این هنرمند دارای مدرک کارشناسی هنر از کالج مطالعات خلاق دیترویت است. آثار این هنرمند تاکنون در گالریهای معتبر متعددی از جمله گالری سیچویشن نیویورک، اندرو رفکز شیکاگو، تیمور گران نیویورک، موزهی درفنر جوداییکا نیویورک، KVKM کلن، کوادرو گالری دبی، لانگ هاوس نیویورک و جکی کلمپی بروکلین به نمایش در آمدهاند. چیدمان او که شامل سه پردهی ملیلهدوزی شده بود در پروژهای با عنوان “Gesang an das noch namenlose Land” در همکاری با کاترین روزنبرگن موسیقیدان در بازل سوئیس، هانوفر آلمان، سلستات فرانسه، اشلوسکیرشه آلمان و نیویورک به نمایش درآمدند. این هنرمند در سال ۲۰۱۲ برای شرکت در رزیدنسی رایکیاویک در ایسلند انتخاب شد. آثار این هنرمند تاکنون توسط نشریاتی همچون نیویورکتایمز، والاستریت ژورنال، آرتنیوز و آرت آسیا پاسیفیک مرور و نقد شده است. امینلاری در خرداد سال ۱۴۰۰ در نمایشی سه نفره در گالری کریستن لورلو نیویورک شرکت خواهد کرد و نمایش انفرادی بعدی وی در گالری اندرو رفکز شیکاگو برگزار خواهد شد.

در تابستان ۱۳۹۹ و در اوج همهگیری ویروس کرونا، امینلاری خود را در ارتفاعات آتلانتا در ایالت جورجیا قرنطینه کرد. جرقهی اولیهی آثار سرامیک امینلاری، دور از آتلیهی همیشگی وی در بروکلین، در این کارگاه موقتی در فضای باز زده شد. مجموعهی پیش رو علاوه بر آثار روی کاغذ، شامل شش مجسمهی کوچک سرامیکی و چیدمانی از کاشی نیز میشود که در طول دورهی دوماههی قرنطینه ساخته شدهاند. کاشیها در این مجموعه لعابهایی آبیرنگ با سایههای متفاوت دارند و شکل هرکدام تداعیگر نقوش دوخته شده بر روی آثار روی کاغذ این نمایش است. این کاشیها در فضای نمایش به صورت افقی بر روی سطح، آزاد قرار میگیرند؛ به گونهای که از جابجایی آنها میتوان بینهایت ترکیببندی متفاوت بهدست آورد.
اشکال به کار رفته در کاشیها و آثار روی کاغذ برگرفته از الگویی واحد هستند که هنرمند خلق کرده و هر قطعه بهوسیلهی تکرار الگوی اصلی بهدست آمده است که باعث پیوستگی بیشتر مجموعه میشود. شش مجسمهی بالدار، یادآور گلدان یا ظرفهایی استوانهای شکل هستند که به فضای داخلی و خانه اشاره دارند. به همین ترتیب، امینلاری همواره در آثار خود از طریق دوختهای ظریف بر روی کاغذ، تلاش در اشاره به موضوع کار خانگی دارد. این مجموعه مجسمه با رنگهای مات، جواهرگونه و در عین حال خام خود، باعث تشدید تجربهی بصری آثار روی کاغذ میشوند که بر روی بستری از رنگ گواش آبی و بهوسیلهی دوختن نخ براق طلا خلق شدهاند. "در پروسهی از بین بردن و پیکربندی مجدد است که چیزهای جدید شکل میگیرند. در فضاهای خالی و فضای میان گواش آبی، اشکال حیوانی و انسانگونه ظاهر میشوند که تداعیگر شکل توتمها و یا سرستونهای باستانی هستند. برای من، این آثار به منظور گشودن راهی تازه، شمایل ناسیونالیسم را به چالش میکشند و تغییر میدهند."
عبدالرضا امینلاری (م. ۱۳۵۸ تهران) در بروکلین زندگی و کار میکند. این هنرمند دارای مدرک کارشناسی هنر از کالج مطالعات خلاق دیترویت است. آثار این هنرمند تاکنون در گالریهای معتبر متعددی از جمله گالری سیچویشن نیویورک، اندرو رفکز شیکاگو، تیمور گران نیویورک، موزهی درفنر جوداییکا نیویورک، KVKM کلن، کوادرو گالری دبی، لانگ هاوس نیویورک و جکی کلمپی بروکلین به نمایش در آمدهاند. چیدمان او که شامل سه پردهی ملیلهدوزی شده بود در پروژهای با عنوان “Gesang an das noch namenlose Land” در همکاری با کاترین روزنبرگن موسیقیدان در بازل سوئیس، هانوفر آلمان، سلستات فرانسه، اشلوسکیرشه آلمان و نیویورک به نمایش درآمدند. این هنرمند در سال ۲۰۱۲ برای شرکت در رزیدنسی رایکیاویک در ایسلند انتخاب شد. آثار این هنرمند تاکنون توسط نشریاتی همچون نیویورکتایمز، والاستریت ژورنال، آرتنیوز و آرت آسیا پاسیفیک مرور و نقد شده است. امینلاری در خرداد سال ۱۴۰۰ در نمایشی سه نفره در گالری کریستن لورلو نیویورک شرکت خواهد کرد و نمایش انفرادی بعدی وی در گالری اندرو رفکز شیکاگو برگزار خواهد شد.
